Certified lifesaving and firefighting equipment services for vessels in Montenegro.
Repforn Lda is a privately owned maritime safety company established in 2011 to meet the growing demand for a certified, compliant and professionally disciplined service provider in the Adriatic region. From the beginning, our mission has been clear: to support vessels and maritime operators through reliable, documented and fully compliant servicing of lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
Based in Bijela, at the entrance of the Bay of Boka and in immediate proximity to major shipyards, marinas and repair facilities, our service station is strategically positioned to support international commercial vessels, local fleets, passenger vessels and both foreign and domestically registered yachts. The location allows us to respond quickly and professionally to the needs of ship agents, captains and maritime companies operating in Montenegro.
The company was originally founded as an inflatable liferaft service station, but over the years Repforn Lda has grown into a comprehensive provider of marine safety services. Today, our operations cover the full range of safety requirements on board — including liferaft servicing, hydrostatic release inspection, lifejacket and lifebuoy testing, immersion suit inspections, annual and five-year surveys of lifeboats, rescue boats, davits and winches, as well as the supply of emergency rations, IMO signs, firefighting systems, portable extinguishers and SCBA equipment. This continuous expansion reflects our long-term commitment to becoming a leading regional centre for marine safety equipment servicing and supply.
Our work is conducted in full accordance with international and local requirements, including IMO and SOLAS conventions, Classification Society regulations, and all relevant Flag and Port State directives. Compliance is not an objective — it is the foundation on which we operate.
From the start, Repforn Lda has been driven by the goal of delivering consistently excellent service. To achieve this, we focus on developing a highly qualified and motivated team, supported by continuous training and internal skill development. We maintain strong communication channels between our service station, clients, governing bodies and manufacturers to ensure absolute clarity, accuracy and efficiency in every stage of the service process.
We place special emphasis on improving our safety management practices and environmental standards, ensuring that every service — both in-house and onboard — meets the highest international expectations. Operational risks are carefully identified and eliminated through preventive measures and verified procedures, reducing the possibility of equipment failure or damage to property. Above all, we remain fully aligned with the rules, recommendations and regulatory frameworks established by maritime organizations and authorities worldwide.
Our strategy is built on understanding the needs of different customer segments and delivering solutions tailored to each of them. In the coming years, our focus is on strengthening our position as a regional leader in marine safety servicing, supported by well-maintained stock levels, readily available spare parts and the ability to respond promptly to client requirements.
We continue to expand our service scope, particularly in the field of annual and five-yearly inspections of lifeboats, rescue boats, davits and winches. Improving our internal quality management systems remains a long-term priority, as does investing in skilled personnel with strong maritime backgrounds and a sense of responsibility aligned with the demands of our industry.
As we grow, we place equal importance on maintaining strong relations with clients, manufacturers, inspection bodies and local authorities. Our facilities and equipment are kept in excellent condition through a structured maintenance program, ensuring reliability, precision and the capability to support ongoing expansion.
Safety is not a product — it is a process that requires discipline, documentation and absolute responsibility. Every service performed at Repforn Lda follows calibrated procedures, strict internal quality checks and internationally recognised guidelines. There are no shortcuts and no exceptions. Our commitment is to ensure that every vessel leaves our station safer than it arrived.
